Refresh
Refresh is a new service that will be starting on Wednesday night March 21, 2012. This will NOT be your average Wednesday night service. We believe this will prove to be an enormous blessing to all who participate. The atmosphere will be authentic, the worship will be vertical, and the preaching will be creative.
•This will be a fast-paced service with no time for the children (or adults) to get bored.
•Refresh will be a more casual service. You should feel free to come straight from work as you are.
•The music will be planned as a cry out to God for rescue and restoration. We will ask God to fill us up with His spirit and power.
•The pastor will make every effort to engage each segment of the congregation. Children, Youth, and Adults will be equally involved in the preaching. Sermons will endeavor to be participatory and innovative.
•The staff will intentionally plan to use unique ways to involve the entire family. Children will be given message maps, providing them with unique opportunities to participate in worship. Our youth will be able to use technology to offer input during the service (Yes, they can bring their iPod).
•This will be a family friendly service; parents will actually enjoy having their small children in worship with them (yes, seriously).
•Understanding it’s a school night, families will be headed to the cars by 8pm.
•While many worship on Sunday only to struggle and thirst for six days before returning to the well of corporate worship, this service will provide a mid-week spiritual refreshing for the entire family.
